I wondered: What is love?
the fairy answered me:
-- It is speaking to the other person with affection,
it is to spoil him always like a child,
It is to look into his eyes and take a deep breath

is respect and loyalty,
it is to give without waiting,
is to look always forward and never backward,
together in life must go on.

I could not answer,
because I realized that I have only had to lose,

reliving past stages,

and continue without looking back.

-- I would like to live love once again,

The fairy shuddered,

Me preguntaba: ¿Qué es el amor?
el hada me contestó:
-- Es hablarle a la otra persona con cariño,
es consentirlo siempre como un niño,
Es mirar sus ojos y respirar profundo
en un suspiro rotundo,
es respeto y lealtad,
es dar sin esperar,
es mirar siempre adelante y nunca hacia atrás,
juntos en la vida han de continuar.

No pude responder,
porque me di cuenta que solo he tenido que perder,
he tenido que vivir perdiendo,
aun me quede queriendo,
reviviendo etapas pasadas,
como si no pudiera hacer nada,
para mi era difícil olvidar
y continuar sin mirar atrás.

-- Quisiera vivir el amor una vez más,
pero solo con quien mi corazón ocupa un gran lugar.

El hada se estremeció,
y dijo en dulce voz:
-- Lo que es tuyo, si es tuyo volverá,
para amarte una vez más
y si no regresa,
tienes que continuar.
