El día de hoy paso a compartirte mi más reciente ilustración digital. Se trata de Nahana, un personaje original que compartí la semana pasada en este post donde solo muestro su etapa de lineart.

El diseño de Nahana me gustó mucho cuando lo hice como lineart. No tenía intenciones de darle color, pero como me gustó tanto al final me terminé animando a pintar al personaje y además darle un nombre. Este fue el resultado:

Today I'm going to share with you my latest digital illustration. It's about Nahana, an original character I shared last week in this post where I only show her lineart stage.

I really liked Nahana's design when I made it as lineart. I didn't intend to give it color, but since I liked it so much, I ended up encouraging myself to paint this character and also give it a name. This was the result:

Me siento satisfecho con el resultado. Desde el principio quería darle a su cabello un bonito color zanahoria y creo que lo he conseguido. Y bueno, a veces diseño personajes y nunca más vuelvo a dibujarlos, pero Nahana definitivamente se ha ganado un lugar entre los personajes que espero volver a ilustrar en el futuro.

Y sin más qué decir, a continuación te dejaré con algunas de las diferentes etapas de creación de esta ilustración.

I am satisfied with the result. From the beginning I wanted to give her hair a nice carrot color and I think I succeeded. And well, sometimes I design characters and never draw them again, but Nahana has definitely earned a place among the characters that I hope to illustrate again in the future.

Ese fue el proceso de creación del lineart que compartí en el post de la semana pasada. Para esta ocasión, sin embargo, he modificado un poco ese lineart, como verás a continuación.

That was the process of creating the lineart that I shared in last week's post. For this occasion, however, I have modified that lineart a little, as you will see below.

En caso de que no puedas identificar cuál fue la modificación que hice, lo que modifiqué fue el cuello de Nahana y su cabello: su cuello lo hice más corto (porque me parecía que antes estaba muy largo) y le di un poco más de volumen a su cabello.

In case you can't identify which modification I made, what I modified was Nahana's neck and her hair: I made her neck shorter (because I thought it was too long before) and gave her hair a little more volume.
