Hello people, today I bring you Spike, an NFT I have posted at Pixeos art gallery.

This drawing originated as a practice of dragon heads, could be considered the first of a collection of portraits.

Hola gente, hoy les traigo a Spike, un NFT que tengo publicado en la galería de arte de Pixeos.

Este dibujo se originó como una práctica de cabezas de dragones, podría considerarse el primero de una colección de retratos.

I used a bristle brush to make the base coloring, configuration can be found below, I decided to use the complementary colors blue and orange.

Usé un pincel de cerdas para hacer el coloreado base, la configuración la puedes encontrar mas abajo, y decidí usar los colores complementarios azul y naranja.

In another layer I make the shadows painting in a general way and then detailing the lighter and darker parts.

After the difficulty I had with the shadows in Shin-Lo, I started to study how lights and shadows work on three-dimensional objects, and I hope you'll notice the improvement 😝.

En otra capa empecé a hacer las sombras pintando de forma general y luego fui detallando las partes mas claras y oscuras.

Después de la dificultad que tuve con las sombras de Shin-Lo, me puse a estudiar como funcionan las luces y las sombrar en los objetos tridimensionales, espero que se note la mejoría 😝.

I made the eye, I used a brighter orange to complement it and make it stand out from the blue, finally, for the background I didn't want to complicate it, I made a gradient in a separate layer and replicated it as much as possible with a bristle brush I used to paint Spike and that's it.

Luego, hice el ojo, usé un naranja más brillante para que complemente y se destaque del azul, finalmente, para el fondo no me quise complicar, hice un degradado en una capa a parte y la repliqué lo máximo posible con el pincel que usé para pintar a Spike y listo.

It was refreshing to do this drawing, after doing Shin-Lo I had a creative block, I wanted to do something complex that was cooler, more shocking and much better than Shin-Lo, but nothing came out, finally, I started doing simple practices, among them a small collection of dragon portraits that I hope to be digitizing, tokenizing and uploading most frequent.

Fue refrescante hacer este dibujo, después de hacer a Shin-Lo tuve un bloqueo, quería hacer algo complejo que fuera más genial, más impactante y mucho mejor que Shin-Lo, pero nada salía, al final, me puse a hacer prácticas sencillas, entre ellas una pequeña colección de retratos de dragones que espero estar digitalizando, tokenizando y subiendo con mayor frecuencia.
