Hola amigos regresaron las donas en acuarela depués de un largo descanso. Ya las extrañaba y con el regalo que recibí más. Mi mamá me envió unos pinceles espectaculares y un block increíble. Antes pintaba con pinceles de óleo y ahora tengo todo especial para acuarelas, con diferentes tamaños y formas de puntas.

Before I used to paint with oil brushes and now I have everything special for watercolors, with different sizes and shapes of tips.

Hice una división para ahorrar las hojas de este maravilloso block. Además que no me gustan las donas tan grandes XD.

Comencé con la estructura básica a lápiz.

I made a division to save the sheets of this wonderful block. Besides I don't like donuts that big XD.

Luego la masa de la dona; siempre comienzo por ahí porque me parece la parte más sencilla, auqnue esta vez pinté con un color más saturado. Al principio todo se ve muy manchado y sin forma, pero es increíble como al final se noten tantos detalles.

Then the donut dough; I always start there because it seems to me the easiest part, although this time I painted with a more saturated color. At the beginning everything looks very stained and shapeless, but it's amazing how at the end you can see so many details.

Después pasé a pintar el chocolate que recubre a la dona. Preferí dejar un brillo tenue para darle volumen a pesar que la original no lo tenía. También le puse menos lluvia de chocolate. En este paso solo se la da una base de color para el chocolate.

Then I painted the chocolate that covers the donut. I preferred to leave a faint sheen to give it volume even though the original didn't have it. I also put less chocolate rain. This step only gives it a base color for the chocolate.

Aquí comenzamos a entrar un poco en los detalles con la lluvia de chocolate. Hice pinceladas con un marrón más oscuro.

Here we start to get a little bit into the details with the chocolate rain. I did brush strokes with a darker brown.

Ya en este paso comencé a pintar la rejilla y que le da mayor profundidad y volumen al dibujo. Lo primero fue un fondo gris claro y definir las rejas con uno más oscuro.

Already in this step I started to paint the grille and that gives more depth and volume to the drawing. The first thing was a light gray background and define the grids with a darker one.

La parte más difícil era el plástico de la bandeja. Es un color tan claro que apenas se nota para pintar y además contiene transparencia. Practicamente lo que hice fue ensuciar el pincel y después pasar otra capa donde era ligeramente más oscuro.

The most difficult part was the plastic of the tray. It is such a light color that it is barely noticeable to paint and also contains transparency. Practically what I did was to dirty the brush and then pass another layer where it was slightly darker.

Al final usé los creyones y le di volumen a todo. Con el color negro afirmé sombras. Con el marrón se vio más homogenio el arte. También añadí blanco puro del tubo de acuarela para darle unos brillos.

At the end I used the crayons and gave volume to everything. With the black color, I affirmed the shadows. With the brown the art looked more homogenous. I also added pure white from the watercolor tube to give it some sparkles.
