The wayfarer ( step by step)
Hello everybody.
I want to share with you this watercolor illustration for a series called "explorers" ...
I imagined a traveler who, aboard his snail, wanders this planet from city to city.
You will see the various steps
FRIST STEP
I created the sketch one with a blu pencil and one with ink
SECOND STEP
Finished the project, I drew the illustration on a 300g sheet of watercolor
THIRD STEP
I start coloring the various areas with a watercolor spot color, leaving the white light zone.
FOURTH STEP
I insert shadows and details to improve the drawing
FOURTH STEP

LAST STEP
frame the drawing with a frame that allows to give light

I really love this concept! I love snails too... so this creative spin on the design is super cool. The amount of detail you have here is also pretty incredible, especially for watercolor artwork. Great job!
