La rosa del Nilo crece en las zonas pantanosas, se arraiga en las profundidades y sobrevive a pesar del duro entorno, esa es una de las razones por la que la rosa del Nilo representa el renacimiento del ser humano tras atravesar dificultades. La rosa del Nilo tiene una delicadeza sin igual así como una gran fortaleza, en diferentes culturas la rosa es venerada, representa la pureza, la elevación espiritual en busca de la luz, mientras que el agua lodosa donde crece representa todo lo carnal las dificultades que atan al ser humano, a mi parecer es una analogía perfecta de los seres humanos en la búsqueda de la espiritualidad de trascender.

The Nile rose grows in swampy areas, it takes root in the depths and survives despite the harsh environment, that is one of the reasons why the Nile rose represents the rebirth of the human being after going through hardships. The rose of the Nile has an unparalleled delicacy as well as great strength, in different cultures the rose is venerated, it represents purity, spiritual elevation in search of light, while the muddy water where it grows represents all the carnal difficulties that bind the human being, in my opinion it is a perfect analogy of human beings in search of spirituality to transcend.

Este trabajo empezó por un boceto que realice el año pasado en una hoja de papel bond con lápiz de grafito, solo para pasar el rato, lo digitalice y se quedó guardado en mi teléfono por un tiempo después de varios meses decidí pintarlo digitalmente pero las ideas no fluían así que lo pare de nuevo, finalmente hace 3 días decidí intentarlo de nuevo y este fue el resultado.

This work started with a sketch I made last year on a sheet of bond paper with a graphite pencil, just to pass the time, I digitalized it and it stayed saved on my phone for a while, after several months I decided to paint it digitally but the ideas didn't flow so I stopped it again, finally 3 days ago I decided to try again and this was the result.

Se que las hojas de la flor de loto no tienen esa forma sin embargo me enamore de estas hojas desde que las dibuje, aunque hice unas en forma redondeada estas me gustaron más y en medio de mi indecisión finalmente me quedé con éstas. I know that the leaves of the lotus flower do not have that shape, however I fell in love with these leaves since I drew them, although I did some rounded ones I liked them more and in the middle of my indecision I finally stayed with these.
