A few days ago I saw in my feed on a certain social network a post about idioms in English, in this case "tickled pink", which means that you are very happy about something.

Hace unos días vi en mi feed de cierta red social un post sobre idioms en inglés, en este caso "tickled pink", que significa estas muy contento por algo.

So I wanted to make a portrait of this, but placing the lighting from below, to give it a certain aspect of mystery. The truth is I find it very funny that a person who is very happy about something looks to the side and the light comes from below, it gives it an atmosphere of mystery or rarity, in the middle of so much pink mood. While I was painting it, I imagined it was a movie scene, that's why I added this even stranger background, with clouds. For a moment I thought about placing a lightning bolt and turning it into a Gif. If you like the idea, leave me a comment.

Así que quise hacer un retrato sobre esto, pero colocándole la luz desde abajo, para darle cierto aspecto de misterio. La verdad me parece muy gracioso que una persona que esta muy contenta por algo vea hacia un lado y la luz provenga desde abajo, le da un ambiente de misterio o rareza, en medio de tanto rosa. mientras lo pintaba imaginaba que era una escena de película. por eso añadí este fondo aún más extraño, con nubes. The process / El proceso

At the beginning it was all lines and doodles, with the shape of a person.

Al principio todo eran lineas y garabatos con la forma de una persona.

But then I made a line art, and I set my color palette.

Pero luego hice mi line art, y establecí mi paleta de colores.

I painted the darkest and the brightest parts.

Pinté las partes más clases y más oscuras.

And then, I painted mid tones and I blend.
Y luego pinté los medio-tonos y difuminé.
