A few days ago I was walking with my daughters on our quarantine easing day. It was a hot day and we did our best to walk in the shade, under the trees. On the way we got this nest, and we decided to take it home and place it among our plants.

Hace unos días estaba caminando con mis hijas en nuestro día de flexibilización de cuarentena. Era un día caluroso y hacíamos lo posible por caminar por la sombra, bajo los árboles. En el camino nos conseguimos con este nido, y decidimos llevarlo a casa y colocarlo entre nuestras plantas.

We know that birds will not nest in it, since we do not have any leafy plants, but only succulents and prickly pears. But we thought it was better if we took this beautiful piece of natural architecture with us and not leave it lying on the side of the road.

Sabemos que las aves no harán nido en el, puesto que no tenemos ninguna planta frondosa, sino apenas suculentas y tunas. Pero nos pareció mejor llevar esta hermosa obra de arquitectura natural con nosotros y no dejarla echada a un lado de la via.

This nest inspired me to draw this illustration.

-My head is like a nest- my daughter told me, while placing the nest on her head

"A nest of brilliant ideas," I replied, and yes it is.

En este nido me inspiré para ésta ilustración.
-Mi cabeza es como un nido- me dijo mi hija, mientras colocaba el nido en su cabeza
-Un nido de ocurrencias- le respondí, y si que lo es.
