A little over a month ago I played with the luck of having this model. Her name is Fernanda and she is like a sister to me. There is something special about painting people you know, because you fill the portrait with a certain subjectivity.

I called this work "Fernanda is blooming", because she really is.

This work sold out pretty quickly at KnownOrigin and my model was very satisfied with two things: that there is a painting about her, and that she was paid as a model.

Hace poco más de un mes toqué con la suerte de tener esta modelo. Su nombre es Fernanda y es como una hermana para mi. Hay algo especial en pintar personas que conoces, pues llenas de cierto subjetividad el retrato.

A esta obra la llamé "Fernanda is blooming", porque realmente lo está.

Esta obra se agotó bastante rápido en KnownOrigin y mi modelo quedó muy satisfecha de dos cosas: de que exista una pintura sobre ella, y del pago que le correspondió como modelo.
