Wednesday walk: the last day of the winter
We had a European-style winter this year. Snow was a rare guest. But on the last day, February 29, a little snow suddenly fell. Combined with a blue sky and bright sun, it turned out very beautifully.
This is Alekseevsky garden. On the path are children with sledges. In this park there is a slide children love to ride.
The building with the turret is the palace of Grand Duke Alexei Alexandrovich. Now in this building is a concert hall.
Monument to Russian poet Mikhail Lermontov. Lermontov lived in the first half of the 19th century, served in the army, died in a duel at the age of 26.
The monument to Lermontov stands in the Alexander Garden, in front of the Admiralty. The walls of the Admiralty are decorated with bas-reliefs of flying figures. Flights near the Admiralty are prohibited.
Arch on Bolshaya Morskaya street. Through this arch you can go to the Palace Square.
This is my entry for the #wednesdaywalk challenge by @tattoodjay and for the Make me Smile challenge by @elizacheng.
Such cool buildings and with the snow and that gorgeous blue sky looks so beautiful
I noted the no Drone sign is that a problem there?
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)
Drones have been banned recently.
Thank you! :)
