Wednesday Walk - Spiders are back in town.

Here are a few city characters for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay

The spiders are taking over Chicago right now.

These orb weavers are all over the buildings, bridges and planters.

This gal setup shop on a bridge. You can see the Chicago river in the background.

I would imagine the bridges are good places for the wind to blow flies into their webs.

Here is another one just about to start building her web.

Meanwhile back in suburbia the japanese beetles are finishing off the last of the wild rosebuds.

The fireflies are resting on the milkweeds charging up energy for their lightshow.

I was able to catch this nice round milkweed beetle. There are quite a number of different milkweed beetles hanging around right now.

Here are a couple different milkweed beetles creating the next generation of beetles.
