Love that huge mantis, this spring I plan on buying some cocoons to hatch near my tomato plants on the balcony.

Haa Lets' hope you don't get moths instead!

One of my favourite all times movies is 'a bugs life' for the Mantis...🤣

I actually do end up getting moths from my tarantula food. I buy hawk moth larvae for them to eat but many end up turning into pupa and hatching.

Wow cool.
Got any close up photos of them?

I love big spiders (not enough to intentionally have them as pets) but I do not kill them, I like to leave them where they are in their homes.

I once unintentionally had a big female Golden Orb in the same spot for a few months.
She was gorgeous. 😍
