Wednesday Walk at a nearby town

I had the afternoon free after Mass last Sunday so I drove to a nearby town that was having a festival. And like most festivals, there were lots of entertainment, crafts, good food, and fun, but all on a smaller scale than most that I have seen.

Many of the festival-goers were bikers!

I happen to park behind this older couple's bikes.

We exchanged hellos, and then we quickly became friends!

They suggested that I join them since I was alone, and so we went through some of the festival booths together.

John & Penne were so nice and friendly, just like the other people around.

They pretty much reminded me of two particular couples in the #steemsilvergold community- @elizabethbit & @silvertop, and @dfinney & her hubby- who both do many things together!

Everywhere you looked, there were motorcycles! On this street, and on that street... motorcycles parked everywhere!

There were specialty cars that were randomly parked and being displayed by their owners. A few were antique cars, and some cars were pimped up and customized to the owner's liking.

These are a few of the hand made crafts being sold.
Although I stayed only for a short period, I enjoyed the afternoon at that festival because people were very friendly.

What a Nice Way to leisurely enjoy your Day. You made New Friends and hopefully you enjoyed your visit and you took some neat pictures of the Cars that were PIMPED UP......... It is always Fun to check out Festivals and see the Booths and maybe have some Fun Food from the Booths..... @silversaver888

It was a fun day! It is so strange that we were like old friends, but except for exchanging names and general information like where we were from, none of us ventured to share any more information. But I think its more like they were respectful of my privacy because I was not voluntarily giving them any information. I know that if I brought our conversation to more personal matters, they'd readily share with me.
I know that Arizona is a state where many artists reside. You probably regularly go to arts and crafts street exhibits there.

The farmers are all hoping for rain here. The fruit trees are all blooming and they need water!
Although short, it was a fun day. I had lots of tacos!

No, that's not me. That's Penne... I parked behind her's and John's motorcycles (in the green car). I had brief exchanges with a few farmers at the festival, and they were saying the same thing... wishing for rain! Northern California did not get enough rain in the past months of December and January. But we all were enjoying the pleasant weather that day.

Yeah, in college, O learned to ride a motorcycle. First gear is down and the rest is up! I learned to do awesome turns by lining up my nose with the bike wheels, always keeping the front wheel straight, pushing on the handlebar to lean in the direction of the turn and counter steering... and I know that I may not be explaining it too well, but I think you know what I mean, haha! Yeah, cars are easier, hehehe
