Good evening from southwest Nigeria to all Hiveians and #wednesdaywalkers. It was quite a good day for me and my team. The youth fire conference of my church kicked off today as we prepared for the RCCG annual convention tagged, A New Wave Of Glory. As the organizing teams started off planning the epoch-making event, we consulted ministers of God from different parts of the world to lead us in an impartation service. Evangelist Gboyega Shitta, President and Founder, Kingdom Power Ministries International with its Headquarters in Lagos-Nigeria was the guest minister. It was a time of explosive engagement of words. I was super imparted and my understanding of spiritual things broadened. Some of the things he spoke were thought-provoking, you can read them up in one of my recent posts. The Kingdom, Power, and Glory

The chief host of this event is the fair man walking into the venue, he is the *Provincial Pastor of RCCG Lagos Province 39 Professor Ben Akabueze. He is also the Directory, Federal Ministry of Economic and Budget Planning, Nigeria. Several times we had had to schedule virtual meetings via Zoom to discuss the event. First, it seemed that we weren't making headway but today, we were shocked at the turnout we received at the venue.

Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, one of the Local Organizing Committee Members was also invited as the guest music minister. As we await the arrival of Evangelist Shitta*, he led us in a spirit-filled session of worship. I bet there is no other place to be on a day like this than to be led into the spirit with soul-lifting worship.
The evangelist ventured his preaching on the apostle, Philip. Who was led to minister to the Ethiopian Eunuch who was reading the book of prophet Isaiah. The connection between what happened in Samaria where apostle Philip had first ministered provokes the spirit of many young Christians at the venue. When the evangelist mentioned it, Christians should be vexed in their spirits to take the gospel to the ends of the earth as pointed out in the gospel according to Matthew. Go! That's the commission that believers have been called into. And glory to God that some of our leaders have shown us the way to reach out to the world. Some of their works still speak volumes. Reinhard Bonkke, Bishop Idahosa, Benny Inn, Pastor Adeboye, Bishop Desmond Tutu, Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Kumuyi, Pastor D.K Olukoya and a host of others whose name may not be mentioned here. They taught us and showed us the way to go. May God reward their services of love.

Our leader, the Provincial Pastor was very happy that the programme was successful given the shortest time we had to put things together. When your heart is made up to carry out a task, do not allow yourself to be distracted. Any thing is possible to them that believe. God saw us through and our expectation was not cut short.

As part of the programme, a new hostel was inaugurated to accommodate r brethren at the Lagos state University. It's an edifice that the entire body of the student at the Engineering Campus will enjoy. All thanks to the province for such an intervention, it is timely.

This is a cross-section of our provincial departmental leaders and senior pastor present at the programme. Of course, many others were not available since it was held during working hours.

I wish programmes like this is held frequently to draw the attention of the youth populace on their position in nation-building and advancement of God's Kingdom here on earth. The guest minister was vocal on the need for the teeming youth populace take active part in Kingdom business as that is where their strength for tomorrow lies.
I sure had a wonderful #wednesdaywalk. I am a walker, I will never stop walking.
