I am alive challenge / one day as a shark DAY 22
Happy Hive Power Up Day!
On Twitter, I talk about my plans a lot, as far as what I'll be doing with the SPS that I am airdropped and whatnot. At one point, I tweeted out that I am not selling, I'm staking. That's still true almost all of the time, but on the first of the month, I'm going to sell the SPS that I harvest for Hive and power that up.
Today, I got just over 450 Hive for the SPS that I was airdropped. If you've been paying attention, you know that the price of SPS is sort of steadily dropping for now, but I expect it to gain some steam again at some point. Staking rewards begin tomorrow, and I'm excited about that.
Pretty uneventful Sunday
I didn't do a whole lot today. I went for a walk with Stella T. Dog early in the morning and then kind of just did whatever I wanted for the rest of the day. That's what Sundays are for, I think. Tomorrow, I'll have some work to do and some regular weekday things. Today, it was nice to just relax.
This morning, pretty much first thing, I went out to get a small thing of coffee to tide us over until we could go to Costco later in the day. It was a case of looking for coffee before you've had any, but I accidentally bought decaffeinated coffee and drank it all morning without realizing it. I thought it tasted a little weird, but it was cheap gas station coffee, and I just attributed it to that. I made two pots of it without realizing. Oh well! I'll make the real stuff tomorrow and all will be right with the world.
The weather was lovely, so I spent some time out on the patio.

Yup! Yeah, it was a good amount and today, we'll start earning rewards on the SPS we have staked, so I'll be getting even more. It's an exciting time.'
Where I live, this is about the height of summer. We've had a lot of sunny days and everything's still pretty green. It will start changing in September probably.
