I AM SADDEN (I AM ALIVE CHALLENGE DAY 15)

Hi guys I'm sorry I wasn't able to post in the past few days, I wasn't in a good mood at all.
Today is making it one week since my fellow brothers and sisters of Nigeria lost their lives in a peaceful protest that was meant to correct the lapses that have deprived us from most of our rights and things we are to enjoy as citizens of our beloved country(🇳🇬) and nothing as been done about it. They died while singing our national anthem with our national flag in their hands (sigh), what a painful death.
It all happened on Tuesday's night (20/10/2020) while they all gathered together at a check point in lekki (Toll gate) peacefully protesting to #endsars #endpolicebrutality #endbadgovernance as a result of all these things not going right. All of a sudden the lights were turned off and the cameras were shut down which was meant for surveillance.
They didn't expect these at all yet they all stood still course they knew they were doing the right thing and it's our right we are talking about here.
Nevertheless, the armed forces came in and took over with their riffles and the peaceful protest became a massacre.
I feel sorry for those who had lost their love ones during this protest please accept my condolences. I want you all that have passed away in this cause that I will never forget you for you stood up for we the people to give us back our freedom, you are our heroes and heroine, I pray for a better nation that I will be always proud of to call my home, oh! Lord heal our land, I don't have anywhere to run to course Nigeria is the land of my birth, It is well.

@Rickardoh your post drew tears to my eyes- again since this disgusting violence re-ignited in your country.

Your government and their use and blatant abuse of brutality, corruption, lies, deceit, violence causing so much poverty, sickness, death, fury and sorrow sickens me to my stomach and I truly wish that there was something that I could do for you and your fellow Nigerians as no-one deserves to be treated like this- especially by the very same people that are meant to love, protect and nurture you though all kinds of change- good and bad.

And you should not have to run form your homeland- it is those disgraceful, greedy corrupt, pathetic people running your government that should be running away- not you.

I am so sorry that you and your friends, family and fellow Nigerians have to go through this.

I am thinking of you and thinking about how I can help you overcome the horror that is your life in Nigeria at this time.

May their fight not go unheard, may their lives not be lost in vain, may their souls rest in peace and may their spirit carry forward to those who will carry on the battle after them.

We never though coming until it was dawn in our eyes. What really pains me most is yhe speech given that nobody died on Tuesday which we called BLACK TUESDAY. They really forth for us and may their gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Take heart my brother @rickardoh. Everything is gonna be well.

I think the best thing we as a youth can do is to vote for the youth and all this Godfather stuff should be eliminated and thank God we now have a new party which is meant for the youth. Play your part/role by voting during the next election.

Black Tuesday is a day that Nigerians will never forget. The live of the citizen looks like a chicken to their eyes the leaders.
The people that have done this should be brought to justice. Yesterday I still hear a minister saying the social media should put in check like anything they don't want should be remove depriving usvour right which is right to freedom. I feel sad to know about the massacre that happened in the Nigeria 🇳🇬 . But i feel all things will be fine soon.. And lives of many peaceful protesters will not be in vain. Their sacrifice will bring the things in a right way. Law and order will be maintained in your country in the perfect manner.. All the heros and heroins of the protest who lost their lives may rest in perfect peace.
Hope is a good medicine to all the pain and sorrow..

My thoughts and a moment of silence go out to you and you fellow country people @rickardoh and my condolences. Not just for the loss of lives, but also for the loss of trust in government. I recently read an article about human trafficking in Nigeria and how the government cares more about money than stopping certain things. The priorities are all wrong and corruption is destroying the world.
Let us hope that one day it will change for the better.
