I Am Alive! 🌱

SO much to do, so little time. There need to be more hours in a day, or at least more minutes in an hour. As January comes to an end (what the hell, when did that happen) and the world seems to be changing again, work and priorities I had set aside in December are creeping up on me.

My main employer assigned me to a new project, which means a lot of research and getting out of my comfort zone. As a lecturer I had one subject last year, which got bumped up to 2 subjects, so that means even more preparation. Not to mention some academic challenges coming my way as well.

Unfortunately this means I have less time for Hive and the garden. Luckily for a short period of time. Of course I could do anything and everything, but I'm too old for that shit. Better to prioritize and let things play out at whatever pace.

I'll be sitting, relaxing and watching things play out at the end of the day when I decide I reached my limit for that day. Much like Bernie does here. xD

Now for an (in)appropriate daily funny image to balance out all the drama.

@rarej - Time is the most valuable things in the world. Everyone is always equal in term of time for 24 hours a day. No one can buy back or extend the time even you are super rich.

Have a super great day. Be safe, strong and be healthy.

Cheers/!ENGAGE 25

There's a reason why they say "time is money". :)
It's one of the most valuable resources one can have.

Stay safe!

You are right. A 24-hours day is not sufficient to do our all the things. We need a longer-timed day. A 36-hours day, maybe :)

Sorry to hear that an extra burden was put on you from the employer. Where do you teach? I mean, school, college or university? Are those online class or offline?

Hope that you will still be able to manage your time for hive.

I am fine, and alive.

Have a marvelous day.

I would be first in line to vote for a 36-hour day. xD
But you would be as well I guess, since I know medical people don't have much free time nowadays.

It's not really a burden, I'm on a new project, but I'm also moving away a bit from previous projects. So it's more of a new challenge out of my comfort zone.
At university. I mainly do online classes now do to covid. Gotta make things work somehow right.

Given the current situation, we will inevitably have to move out of our comfort zone. What employers are doing at this point is exaggerating the workload of clients. In order for an organization to make a profit, most of the work must be done under a small number of employees. So moving out of my comfort zone also led to less work on the Hive platform. While this can sometimes be frustrating, it is definitely better to give priority to our job. Otherwise many things in our lives may be disrupted. We don’t have that much time but we inevitably have to manage time. It is beneficial in all respects to take the necessary action. Thank God you are alive. Stay safe. Have a nice day.

Thankfully that is not the situation in my case. We have been getting steadily increasing amounts of work, but the company is hiring and expanding accordingly. While I am taking up new challenges with new projects, old projects are handed over to other colleagues, so the workload stays the same, even though I am getting out of my comfort zone.

I think a move outside of the comfort zone only leads to growth, so we are both becoming better at what we do. Same goes for blogging on Hive about new topics you are not used to. :)

Stay safe friend.
