I Am Alive! πŸ’»

As the title suggests, my day was filled with coding. Besides the normal work stuff, I also did some coding for my school project and another side project as well. A bit of Hive research and development completed the coding cycle. And of course my head hurts now, so I'm spending the rest of the night mindlessly consuming tv shows as always.

I'm also still a bit tired from the barbeque yesterday, but that's a good kind of tired, so I don't mind. Tomorrow is an office day again since Thursday, which I'm not really excited about, because of... you guessed it, the traffic! But it is what it is. At least I get to work as a source of income (for now). Others are not so fortunate and have somehow been surviving the pandemic and inflation combination, which is admirable.

Now for an appropriate daily funny image to balance out all the drama.

Can I ask how did you learn coding? The real me is an IT graduate but he didn't do good with coding. Well, that's me.

At first, I learned a bit of coding during my Electrical Engineering studies and a bit more through self-learning.

After that, about 3 years ago, the first software conpany I worked at took me in and fast forwarded my knowledge and career. From there I did 1 local and one international hackathon and now I work at one of the biggest software companies in my country.

Always wanted to do a computer science bachelors, but that wasn't an option back then where I am,but somehow everything fell into place in the end.

That was one heck of a journey. How does it feel that everything eventually fell into place? I could imagine what was going on before that. (If what I'm thinking is correct.)

Somehow it feels good to know that everything on my path eventually led to this. If I did anything slightly different, I might not be where I am, or more importantly, the person I am.

I could imagine what was going on before that. (If what I'm thinking is correct.)

And what would that be? I'm curious.

Nah..you might have been from a miserable past where you can't seemingly make everything right or things aren't giving you enough reason to go forward.

...uhm. That was just my playful imagination. βœŒπŸ˜…

lol, no that wasn't it. I was mostly lazy or choosing to focus on less important stuff. Taking much longer to finish my bachelor for example, although those years also formed to who I am today.

Good reasoning and imagination though. πŸ˜‚

I'm especially interested in the results of the Hive research and development part :) What languages do you know?

The results aren't much right now, but I will elaborate more on that when I get more into it.

I mainly work in Java for backend purposes, Angular for frontend and MSSQL for databases. I also know other languages though. And once you get how one works, getting into the rest is much easier.
