What Is - Affiliate Marketing - And Online Business?
In this video I relate back to my video from yesterday about CTPtalk, and here I talk about what Affiliate Marketing and Online Business is.
So Online Business is very easily described as selling products and/or services online, this can be done from your own website or an online shop that someone else is running.
Affiliate Marketing is the promotion of products and/or services from someone else AND that you earn a commission on the sales that you generate through your promotion.
Affiliate commissions can be one time, like an ebook sale, or it can be residual, like for subscriptions, and anything in between, plus percentages also vary.
So this is what Affiliate Marketing and Online Business is, and what the CTPtalk tribe on Hive is focused on.

ENGAGEtokens.Yeah, it's a bit sad that people don't take advantage of using this platform to share their experiences or even promote their online business if well elaborated and valued post.
The reality is some don't want to make the extra effort to improve themselves and their business and then complain about why they aren't getting any results!
Because the extra effort is too much work and takes time to take effect...
On the other hand, some still put affiliate marketing as scammy as some mlm's and Ponzi schemes which turns up our reputation in a negative way...
It's up to us to build a better reputation and motivate people to join us here on HIVE the best we can!

Thanks a lot for your thoughts Eliana, and as you say many just want an easy button, which in turn feeds a lot of those scammy programs that is around, but the thing is that the value comes when you do put in the effort and build something yourself to help others, and this is what we need to show to everyone and by sharing our story about that then more will want to come, I wish you an awesome day.

So for now I am content with promoting that with friends, family and country-folk.
But the Hive platform in itself is also one big affiliate marketing playground. You are pretty much promoting your content and insisting that people follow you and upvote regularly.
Yeah if you treat it like a business, or part of your business then that is true, I also promote my videos to my email list for example, keep up your good work.
