I Am Alive Challenge Post #2
Hello WeAreAliveAnd.Social friends!
Today is my second day of participating in the #iamalivechallenge.
Yesterday was a beautiful day here in North Carolina. Spring has really sprung and there are flowers everywhere. My wife and I have lived in our home for about 30 years now, and have been planting more and more flowers every year. Now we have flowers all year round.
Here are a few pics I took today. I hope you enjoy them.
This is a patch of daisies that have been growing near our mail box since we bought the house. They come back every year bigger and stronger. You can see one of my early Iris's just behind the daisies.
My mother bought this azalea when my daughter was born, 28 years ago. It is one of my favorite plants not only because it is so beautiful but because it also reminds me of my mom and daughter.
This is one of the last blossoms on my forest poppies. I'm not sure that is the official name, but is what my friends called it when they gave it to us as a house warming gift.
