Tulips Galore

I went out looking for mushrooms this weekend but it hasn't rained and I didn't find any. So instead I went to a flower park for some tulip shots.

This is a little lilac park nearby me that is constantly rotating flowers out of their greenhouse onto the landscaping.

So many different colors and species of tulips were freshly planted.

I love how the sunlight backlights the color of the tulips. The weird structure at the top of the hill is a wood bee house. They setup different sized holes for wood boring bees to take up residence there.

Many of the tulip beds were themed by color.

Check out the color of this black and yellow tulip.

This bed is themed like my college colors.

These ones were a blend of pink and orange.

Some pink and white ones.

And some maroon and white edged ones. So many fresh tulips. I'll have to post all the different lilacs from the park in a separate post soon.

Thanks for looking :-)

Beautiful images, I have always wanted to see a tulip garden, here in Costa Rica they sell them as something exotic, once it loses the flower it does not flower again and that's all.

Yeah they constantly need to be cultivated in a greenhouse then planted right as they are blooming.

I had a peony tulip similar to the last photo for my wedding on May 9th, lo these many decades back. It came from my garden.
