Como una flor (Creación poética) Like a flower (Poetic creation)
Parecidos a las flores nos levantamos desde una pequeña semilla, milagro de la fecundación crecemos, creando raíces rompemos la tierra hasta salir a la luz ocupando nuestro sitio en el jardín de la vida.
Similar to flowers we rise from a small seed, the miracle of fertilization we grow, creating roots we break the earth until we come to light taking our place in the garden of life.
Nos erguimos en un tallo largo y espigado, asomando un capullo que parece guardar secretos antiguos, pupilas expectantes nos miran esperando el momento en que mostremos nuestros pétalos, poco a poco corolas radiantes se abrirán y con suerte recibirán el fresco rocío que los alimentará.
We stand on a long, gnarled stem, peering into a cocoon that seems to hold ancient secrets, expectant pupils look at us waiting for the moment when we show our petals, little by little radiant corollas will open and hopefully receive the fresh dew that will feed them.
Pronto asomarán los pistilos que polinicen nueva vida.
Soon the pistils that will pollinate new life will emerge.
Seremos dignos de admiración, regalaremos sonrisas, muchos admirarán nuestra efímera belleza.
We will be worthy of admiration, we will give away smiles, many will admire our ephemeral beauty.
Sea que permanezcamos sembrados en tierra o en una cárcel de agua y vidrio llegará el día en que perecemos, cerrándonos ante la vida, dejando el aroma de nuestra existencia flotando por doquier.
Whether we remain sown on land or in a prison of water and glass, the day will come when we will perish, closing ourselves off from life, leaving the aroma of our existence floating everywhere.
Los pétalos caerán uno a uno.
The petals will fall one by one.
