Newbies Initiative Task 6 - Blockchain Games || Rising Star Tutorial

Hi Everyone !

This is Task 6 of the Newbies Initiative Program, and in this task we learned many things related to games in the Hive Ecosystem and this is also new knowledge for me because before I didn't know much about games in Hive Blockchain but with the existence of Task 6 in this Newbies Initiative Program I can know many things about the games in Hive Blockchain, especially the Rising Star game.

This is also new knowledge for Newbies, because some of the Newbies don't know that in Hive Blockchain there are also games that can be played and we can get rewards in the form of Tokens & NFT from the games we play. And that's one of the advantages of Hive Blockchain compared to others, because here we can not only write articles but also play games and get rewards from the games we play.

Hopefully with the Newbies Initiative Program Task 6 , many other Newbies can know about some information about the games in Blockchain Hive. And the theme given in Task or Week 6 of the Newbies Initiative Program is "Blockchain Games || Rising Star Tutorial" And I will answer all the questions given according to what I know and what I learned from several supporting articles belonging by @ksam.

1 .Mention 2 features that make blockchain games different from other games ?

In fact, there are many features that differentiate Blockchain Games from other games, including;

• Obtaining Cryptocurrencies

In Blockchain Games, apart from having fun, we can also get tokens or cryptocurrencies that we can trade on the market, and we won't find this feature in ordinary games that many people play today.

• Earn in-game NFTs

This is also a feature that distinguishes Blockchain Games from other games, namely in Blockchain Games we can get NFT ownership of the games we play, and these NFTs can also be sold in the NFT market such as in the NFT Show Room or other NFT markets.

2 .List 4 Games on Hive Ecosystem and include their in-game currencies.

The following are 4 games in the Hive Ecosystem and rewards in the form of digital currency in their games :

• Rising Stars

The currency in the Rising Star Game is StarBits, and StarBits can be traded on the Exchange Engine in Hive.

• Splinterlands

The currency in the Splinterland Game is the SPS Token, and SPS Tokens can be traded on the Exchange Engine in Hive and on several other exchanges.

• Robona

The currency in the Robona Game is RBN Tokens, and RBN Tokens can be traded on the Exchange Engine in Hive.

• Dcrops

The currency in Game Dcrops is the CROP Token, and CROP Tokens can be traded on the Exchange Engine in Hive.

3 .What are NFTs and mention 1 use case of NFTs on a Blockchain game.

NFT is a Non-Fungible Token and this is not Crypto, but NFT is a Digital Asset that has a Sales Value in the form of something like Work, Photo, Video, Music or NFT from Game characters.

In Blockchain Games we can buy or win NFT from an event that we play. And the NFTs that we get are usually in the form of game cards, game characters, and weapons in the game.

We also become full ownership of the NFTs that we get from playing Blockchain Games so that we can rent these NFTs or trade them on the NFT Market.

Play the Rising Star Game

This is my first time trying to play games in the Hive Ecosystem, especially the Rising Star game. At first I thought playing this game was very difficult but it turns out to be easy if we want to learn it.

This is the Display of the Standard Missions in the Rising Star Game, and you can clearly see what menus are in the game. The picture also shows that the number of StarBits that I have is still 0, and the amount of Power Energy that I have is 100%, and the number of followers is 10 people before playing the game.

Since I was still a beginner, I tried to play the "illegal busking" mission in the Rising Star game for 5 minutes.

After I played one round of the "illegal busking" Mission, the Energy Power that I had decreased and remained 86%. But I got 28 StarBits, 17 Fans, 0 Luck and 1 Skill from the game I played and that's a new achievement for me in playing the Rising Star Game.
