A Snowy Walk Around Bakewell, Derbyshire
We had our second day of snow but the roads were pretty clear, so I popped over to Bakewell, a little town near me.
The snow made the place look totally different so I saw it through a different perspective.
I walked over the Love Lock Bridge and over the River Wye. The water looked freezing.
Glad to see the birds were all getting a much needed meal. Bakewell is a tourist town so hopefully, there will be plenty of visitors to feed the birds.
I don't think there will be many people eating outside today.
Someone was keeping a close eye on me. After a welcome cup of coffee, I headed back home before the roads got too slippy.

Yikes, you beat us with snow! Nothing has stuck here yet (fortunately :))
I think it will be gone tomorrow. It was just enough to get the camera out. 🙂
Ha, I know that feeling!
Ooooh, lovely. It has been snowing in parts of the Netherlands too. Only not where I live. We only have rain 😥
Nice series!
Thank you. I think more adults came out to play than children. 😄
I'm glad I can use my kids as an excuse to go sleigh riding too when it snows over here 🤣
You lucky thing! 🤣
Wow! The scenery looks very different! Beautiful in a strange way. Too cold for me to be walking around.lol
I'm more of a cold weather person, as long as it's not too cold. Just get wrapped up and go. 🥶😁
