A Cup of Coffee Before Boarding the Train

You know what I often do while waiting for my train to arrive or the bus I've booked, or perhaps while waiting for my train. Yep... as a caffeine addict, of course what I always order while waiting is coffee. A cup of coffee while waiting is like ammunition for war. Ha ha ha... why am I being so dramatic?

By the way... this is the coffee I ordered while waiting for my train to come home. At a station in Purwokerto. I hadn't had any caffeine all day and I didn't feel as energetic as usual, so when I saw the Tomoro coffee outlet just before the boarding pass area, I was immediately excited and without thinking twice I ordered a glass of iced Americano and a butter or original croissant.

Since there was no queue, I didn't have to wait long for my coffee. After that, I hurried inside and chose to wait in the lounge while charging my phone.

There was nothing to say about my first cup of caffeine that day. I simply enjoyed it while savouring each bite of the buttery, fragrant croissant. Watching people come and go, looking at the tall escalators, and admiring the unique interior design of Purwokerto Station.

Coffee is like a friend who never fails to accompany me. Even though I was sitting alone, I didn't feel lonely and just felt relaxed while listening carefully to the announcements from the loudspeaker to see if my train was ready or not.

It started to drizzle outside. Luckily, I didn't get caught in the rain on the way, just in time. It was as if everything was perfectly timed and supporting me. A pleasant journey, a neat and well-maintained station that even looks like it’s been recently renovated. Overall, I like this small-town station.
