Quarantine Life: Day 103, Four Days Quarantine Remaining, Will It Be Extended?

We've been under quarantine since the middle of March, and now at 103rd day. That was quite a long time ago, and all the perks we have back then are in state of absence now, or my continue due to the new normal. Well, I do read somewhere proposing not to undergo new normal, rather extend the quarantine. Well, things won't be the same even quarantine was lifted. That might depends whether vaccines are already released.

When vaccine is out, does it mean it will combat the virus? We cannot say as many people are not comfortable with vaccines, or even against it. They're against to all vaccines including the supposed vaccine for Covid19. I don't have stance on that, and better be on the safe side as I hope that this pandemic will end.

Coronavirus cases

Looking at the tally today, it is shocking to see the huge increase of new cases, which is currently now at 9.607 million. Fatalities has also went up high with tally of 489k. Gladly, recovered cases went up to 4.808 million. United States counted high surge too with total cases of 2.465 million. The number included 126k deaths and 763k patients recovered. Brazil also recorded a huge increase, now the total is 1.233 million. The recovered ones doesn't seem updated with 649k.

In less than 24 hours, Philippines had surged with cases again now with 33,069. Good to see that fatalities is slower, but condolences for the losses of lives, with total of 1,212. There are a total of 8,910 recoveries. There are two new cases here in Pangasinan now with a total of 10 current confined cases.

Will Covid19 Weaken By Itself?

I read a news report on Fox by which an Italian doctor claimed that the Coronavirus will weaken and disappear on its own. If that's true, well it's a good news. However, I hope the claims will be validated so our fears will be de-escalated. As we have observed, many who are tested positive recently are asymptomatic. It might be the case. But more than a month ago, there are reports that the virus will mutate, and even become more dangerous. We hope to hear how true these reports are.
