Tonight is just a usual Friday night in this pandemic season. Everyone is at home after work and excited to have the restful weekend. So, I decided to cook a treat. We are avoiding pork on most days because the gyms are closed and we cannot get rid of them fats and calories but tonight is an exception. It's a cheater day tonight.

I cooked a family favorite, pork adobo. This is a popular Filipino dish. Its aroma and taste is worth getting fat for. Hahaha! It's basically a pork dish on a sauce of mixed soy sauce and vinegar and lots of Filipino favorite spices like garlic, onion, bay leaf, and peppercorns. It is cooked until the pork meat is tender and the fat melts in your mouth. Yummy!

The sauce goes perfect with the plain taste of hot streaming rice. It is so tasty and flavorful that you'll have to keep adding rice to your plate because they complement. Like always, what's left after dinner will be my side treat as I drink a bottle of beer before I go to bed. I love having beer while munching.

Enjoy Saturday or Saturday night wherever you are. Cheers to weekends!
