Corrupt country and its shitty representatives

You see this place, it's actually a junction in my state called "urua ekpa". It's a place I refer to as small sodom!! I call it that name because it's a replica of the sodom and Gomorrah which I always read of in the Bible. I work in a phone shop close to this junction and I have seen the way of life of people around this place.
This place is busy twenty four hours non-stop. Crime, assault and prostitution is the talk of the Town here. Even in broad daylight, atrocities are happening to the detriment of everyone. This had been going on for as long as I can remember. I started working in a phone shop close to this junction when I got admission to the university. The place is a rough one and the people here behave like beasts.

The Annoying part of this whole story;

There are two corp members that were sent to this junction to keep a check on the misdemeanor of the rascals around this place due to the fact that things were beginning to get outta hand. These female corps are the laziest of all corps members that I have seen in my entire life. Maybe they are females I used to say but hell no! I'm female, I take my work seriously and cannot be as lazy and annoying as these people. I would have loved to take a photo of them but I really don't wanna expose their identity to the world just yet.
They abuse the uniform given to them in which if I had the power I would Sue those lazy beings to court and make sure they are charged for abuse of power and for being a party to the corrupt state of this nation I would say as a whole cause not just this Lil sodom itself.
These corp members arrive at this place every morning as early as 6AM, just to come sit down and watch movies using their smartphones.
The very first time they were posted here I was relieved that at least the rate of crime and other stuff happening in broad daylight would reduce a Little.

Was I wrong, was I ??

Yeah I was! Big time.
These lazy beings came here acting all cool and good on the first day and as time went on they threw away their good jackets and put on the jacket of laziness and smuggling.
Yeah! Smuggling!! Guess how it's done?
They get money from the innocent, arrest the one who isn't guilty and let those crime masters go after taking bribes.
Speaking of bribes, the bribes they receive from these crime masters are nothing but peanuts compared to what they are paid for. But come to think of it, isn't that being cheap?
It's annoying, you know. Being here watching them use their phones when they are supposed to be up checking and protecting lives and properties.
The boys around here are beating up people to get money even threatening to stab some when the ones involved refuse to give them the money they ask for.

Why do you think it annoys me??

It's my country you know so firstly it annoys me cause I'm a fucking citizen of this country.
Secondly it annoys me because at the end of the month the lazy corps would get paid heavily for just sitting to watch movies.
Thirdly it annoys me because of the pledges they have made to serve the country with all their strength and make sure they protect the lives of citizens.
But guess what? all what they pledged whether they actually pledged it is arrant nonsense.
They don't keep to their words, they are more like our freaking president who also doesn't keep to his word.
At times you know I regret and ask myself why I came from this dumbass country.
Why I wasn't asked to make a choice of the country I wanted to find myself in but then I got no choice but to accept my fate.
I wish one day there would be a check on the corrupt state of many corp members in my country and such corp members I would say should get kicked outta office with immediate effect lest they contaminate the mindset of the new recruited ones who actually wanna act according to what they have pledged.
For now this place, I mean my lil sodom lol remains the same till the day we have good corps members sent down here to keep an eye. I mean the eagle type of eye here.
