More Singles for my vinyl record collection.

Yesterday was a busy day. Well, for several days now because I am trying to get a new client and that, at the beginning, always takes more effort and dedication.

But today I had the day off and we decided to go to another Mercatino dell'usato (Small Market of used things). Whenever I have been in Italy I have been able to find good vinyl records for my collection and this time it was no different. Although this has been the journey of the "Singles".

I already wrote about the Metallica single "Enter Sandman" that I came across the other day. And today I found in this other Mercatino dell'usato a few more singles, not at the same level as the Metallica single, which is almost impossible to get, but just as good and interesting.

Among those I found, there is a single by Aphrodite's Child, the Progressive Rock band composed, among others, by the famous Vangelis and Demis Roussos. The single is called "I want to live" and contains the song that gives the single its name and the song "Magic Mirror". This specific album was released in 1969 in Italy.

Credence Clearwater Revival's single "Up Around The Bend" from 1970 released in Italy as well. Included in this single is the song "Run Through The Jungle". This little album did not have the original cover but the content is what matters. And I love these Credence songs.

The next one I want to show you is one with the two most recognized themes from one of my favorite films, "Star Wars". This single has on one side the main theme of the movie and on the other side the song that the band plays in the alien bar. The version of these songs for this single is the one played by the London Symphony Orchestra. It was released in 1977, also in Italy.

And to finish, I also found the single from the soundtrack of the movie "Flashdance". The song "What a feeling" and the song called simply "Love theme" are the two songs that come in this single released, like all the others, also in Italy but in 1983. I really liked the movie and the title song is one of my girlfriend's favorite songs.

As you can see, this small selection of singles that I found today is not bad at all. Well, now it's time to clean them and prepare them for the return to Germany tomorrow.

Yes, tomorrow I fly back to Germany and I honestly don't want to. From what I know there are stronger restrictions imposed by the government. And here in Italy are my girlfriend, sea, good weather and Italian food. The truth is that the only thing that ties me to Germany now is my son and ... nothing else.
