POB Word of the Week : Paradox by Hranhuk

"When I started my post series here on POB I fell into a paradox"

The first time I heard about that word, when I was a little boy, I was watching time travel film. I don't know if for everyone the same example was shown, but for me that old cliché about you traveling to the past, killing your grandfather ... So, every time I hear that word or read it, this is the first memory that comes to my mind.

After a while, we grow up, understand things better. And one of them is that I see that life, our mind is a paradox itself.

But how?

When I started my post series here on POB I fell into a paradox about our mind. In the series on the game of the mind I commented on how our mind controls us by acts that we learned since we were children and that were recorded. All our judgment of right and wrong to make different decisions and actions goes through something that was left there in our subconscious. I also commented that it is difficult for you to clear your mind and start over again. For much of these necessary changes, to take these actions, still come from your pre-installed subconscious and judgment when you were a child. But how does it change? I spoke in several posts, examples of what can, over time, start to change our mind and then the paradox of history comes in ... Many people do not change, and follow their whole lives following their right and wrong learned there from birth . And the people who change, at some point did the mind make her think differently and start to change, and if that is also the subconscious reason for what you learned as a child? That is, in this case, nothing would be felt, because it only changes if you are already sure to change, and whoever does not have it in the subconscious since he was a little boy, it does not matter what he will read, study or see, who will continue to follow the same things always. .. So, only those who already have some form or another change there, prepared for it to appear one day and change their mind ... That is, our mind does not change, it only follows a pattern of its own and that has nothing to be done more.

Got confused? Of course I would, that was the idea.

Look for my post about the Mind Game. There are 3 posts, there, maybe, who knows you will understand. If you don't understand, you are not meant to understand, but now, if you understand, it is because you were meant to understand.

Esse post é minha entrada para POB WORD OF THE WEEK

That is true dear

Most times, I used to look back at the things I did and discovered it all came from the things I knew, heard, read, watch, during my childhood

And then I understood the scripture was right when it said,

"train up a child in the way he should go, and once he is old, he won't depart from it " Proverbs. 22:6

we might feel we have departed from the pieces of training we received as children, but we are only deceiving ourselves because they are still there in our subconscious minds, and we have been going back to them, reusing them with or without our knowledge

and I just remember, reading the book "The Godfather" by Mario Puzo, and the Don, had only one belief, and that was

"a man only has one destiny". Mario Puzo, The Godfather

He emphasizes that even though time and chances will sway him away from his destiny, he will always come back to where he is supposed to be

with this, I agree we are still who we were as children unless as you said, we find something we want to change to, and with obvious, reasons

Great entry, I wish you luck in the contest

(Edited)

I understood but not satisfactorily.
One thing though is you're right about how people hardly change, they just follow the basic knowledge they formed when young and still trying to understand the world.
