If You Have the Power then Its Your Responsibly to be Unbiased

Saw a post from @proofofbrainio about muting @azircon because of his downvotes on a user's posts. I just want to ask, what about a bunch of people downvoting others on Hive.blog? Do they need to be muted for downvoting others without knowing the reason? Sometimes we don't have any reason but downvotes still occur but that still are not muted on Hive.blog.

If they are not muted on Hive.blog what makes you mute them on your tribe? I think this is opposite of decentralization, this is called centralization, controlling others with your power. If you have the power does not mean that you can do anything what you want. This can really hurt you in the end.

If you have the power then you have more responsibility not to be biased. I know we are humans, we react sometimes and it's most probable when you have the power but the least we can do is to be unbiased. This kind of act creates distrust in the community. It's not only about muting someone but you also can not always throw your upvotes on someone whom you like for whatever reason while others feel neglected.

I saw user's increased participation on the platform but things like these can create distrust in the community which can harm you in the end.

It's not only for proofofbrain.io, but any other tribe where they have this power should behave in an unbiased way, otherwise your project is at risk then.

Muting someone just because he/she downvoted others without a reason is centralization, censorship, and abuse of power. This hurts not only the person, who muted him, but the whole/entire platform and its community.
