My mysterious plant
Am excited posting with Agricultural friends and other peeps on Hive communities.
I wouldn't mind have some enlightenment about this plant since there are Agricultural experts plus quite a number of brilliant minds on this platform. Creating a space for agricultural popose in my compound has always been very vital as it provides fresh food products on my family dinning table. I live in an Estate where only flower gardens are left aside. Well instead of planting flowers for me, i go for food Items.
I do alot of vegetables and crops like maize and yam. For this year, am going for major red pepper and tomatoes. Just got the seeds on the ground.
Just yesterday evening i decided to weed some area where i grow alovera and also sweet basil leaves aka scent leaves and discovered my sweet basil leaves as a mysterious growth. From the same plant has a side of well florished green leaves
while the other side has a very dry branch.
Although i have noticed that most times when its raining, and all other plants are flourishing this particular plant dries off but when it's dry season with no rain it flourishes.
How can a plant growing from a particular soil produce very dry and very flourishing branches at the same time? I wondered.
I ll be glad to read your veiw about this plant.

Well, its nice of you to use your garden to grown vegetables and other edible leaves
And my God! I have no idea why that plant flourish in the dry season instead of the rainy one as other plants
Maybe it is nature's way of providing for you even when the season is dry, what do you think?
Well am actually aware that it's sensitive to cold and it's best grown in hot conditions. The only thing that amazes me is why its half florish and half dry
Smiles.....
One of the beauties and wonders of God's creation....
