REARING OF EASTER CHICKEN - A COMMON ANIMAL DURING FESTIVE PERIODS

It's Easter season and one of the popular things that comes to mind during this period is Chicken 🐔, among others. Chickens are seen on the streets, stores, markets at this time in large quantities for sale. This is an important reason farmers invest their time and resources in breeding chickens for these festive season.

Broilers are the most common types of chicken 🐔 that people prefer to buy due to the fact that are more fleshy and tasty. Another of their counterpart that contend with them is the culloff layers birds - these are birds that produce eggs 🥚 and later sold when they cannot produce eggs again. They are also tasty but not as fleshy as broilers.

My mother runs a poultry and rears chicken for sale every year and this year isn't an exception. The efforts to make sure they are healthy and big enough for consumption before Easter celebrations is a joint effort by all of us in the house. We feed and give e them water from time to time to make sure they stay hydrated and not hungry.

She collected about 50 birds at day old and they are growing fast.
