¡Hey Hivers! Saludos a todos mis queridos. Andaba un poco desaparecida estos últimos días en la plataforma. Una de las razones es porque me lastimé la mano con que dibujo precisamente y me tomó varios días siquiera poder usarla para las cosas básicas del día, como comer, bañarme, etc. Me alegra poder decir que he vuelto y ya estoy bien, podré seguir dibujando, subiendo mis publicaciones de mis obras, y estar más activa en las redes también.

One of the reasons is because I hurt my drawing hand and it took me several days to even be able to use it for the basic things of the day, like eating, taking a bath, etc. I'm glad to say that I'm back and I'm already well, I'll be able to continue drawing, uploading my publications of my works, and being more active in the networks as well.

Bueno, sin mucho preámbulo aquí les muestro un poco el proceso de una práctica a lápiz que hice hace dos días pero por la señal y los bajones de luz no había podido subir, lamentablemente a veces las trabas se salen de nuestras manos y toca esperar.

Una de las cosas que más me gusta de dibujar animales con pelaje es que me siento muy libre y suelto mucho la mano, ya que pienso que básicamente el dibujo se basa en hacer cada uno de los pelos con algo de movimiento y sombra. Me parece relajante…

One of the things I like the most about drawing animals with fur is that I feel very free and I let my hand loose a lot, since I think that basically the drawing is based on making each one of the hairs with some movement and shadow. I find it relaxing…

No es mi mejor dibujo, tampoco mi favorito, pero para ir practicando después de haberme lastimado creo que está bastante bien, modestamente. Usé los lápices convencionales para el boceto como el 2H e incluso el Mongol que no es precisamente para dibujar. Estuve mucho tiempo buscando estos lápices hasta que por fin los encontré pero solo pude comprar tres (uno de cada uno), 7B, 9B y 10B. Desde el 2016 que obtuve el 8B no he visto más de ese número, se suelen agotar muy rápido o simplemente no los traen ni venden en cualquier librería, me sorprendió mucho encontrar números más altos e incluso el anterior. Me puse muy feliz porque ya puedo volver hacer más retratos.

It's not my best drawing, not my favorite either, but for practicing after having hurt myself I think it's pretty good, modestly. I used the conventional pencils for the sketch like the 2H and even the Mongol which is not exactly for drawing. I spent a long time looking for these pencils until I finally found them but could only buy three (one of each), 7B, 9B and 10B. Since 2016 when I got the 8B I haven't seen more of that number, they are usually sold out very fast or they just don't bring them or sell them in any bookstore, I was very surprised to find higher numbers and even the previous one.
