Graphic design and education

Hello my creative brothers and sisters :))

I must tell you that I am so happy today. Yesterday I fixed my teeth and my whole head doesn't hurt anymore. After 5 days of pure agony, this morning I sang and it was a special moment for me. I don't know if I ever told you but I loooooove singing and for me, music is more than just music.

I already feel and see that I am more creative and relaxed in my job. I am not that sleepy and not deconcentrated anymore so it is a real joy to work now. Since I take care of my teeth pretty well, first I didn't believe that it was half rotten. I just thought that I bite this little piece of bone at the wrong angle. Conclusion. Even if you have no bigger problems with your teeth, go to your dentist so he can examine your teeth. Seriously!

I got a little bit carried away from my topic. In this post, I will talk about my job and my skills even though I wrote about it a long time before. Buuuut I've learned some stuff I want to talk about them today.

I am a graphic designer and I am now, in a few months, going to graduate to be a digital marketer. I love both of those fields and My opinion is that you cannot have one without the other. You cannot sell your design without marketing and you cannot make your marketing advertisements without designing it. I mean, you can, but you won't be very efficient.

Currently, I am working in Adobe Xd, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and a collaboration platform between us designers and a programers, Zeplin.

I want to learn to work in Sketch program because it seems that it works better with Zeplin. Or am I wrong? You tell me if you know. Btw, if you are a designer, in which programs do you work?

This picture represents one of my more organized days. All of the other days there is chaos and color fireworks and rain of papers... :D One thing that gets on my nerves are cables. I would like another office just for them. Or maybe everything should be wireless.

Back to the topic!! My job is to research the market and make some conclusions based on customer needs and wishes and with all my knowledge, to make an awesome design. We as a team are currently trying to make an app for people who are sick. The app is based on alarming you when you scan food with bad ingredients or ingredients you can't or won't eat.

I cannot tell you much but if you have any allergies, intolerances, chronic disease or you are vegetarian or vegan, oooo you gonna like our app. And the best part is that almost everything is based on information with an evidence background and if it isn't, then it is up to you to decide whether you are gonna eat that food or not.

Unfortunately, I cannot show any of my designs from the latest project but this one was the one before. I had to design some logo for my cute lady hunters and it was fun I must say. I had some rules but they didn't lock me in the box without any freedom to design with creativity, not rules.

After all these years of trying to become a pro designer, I really think I'm going somewhere. I am not a pro yet but I'm not far away. Working with my colleagues is such a blessing. They teach me everything and they are never tired of answering my stupid questions. And I know I ask a lot and that is the result of my teacher who always taught me it is better to ask a stupid question and be smarter after the answer in the opposite of not asking any questions and be stupid for the rest of your life.

It sounds a little bit rough but that sentence really got to me.

This was also one of my early projects and it is so much fun to look at my older works and to actually see how I went up and make a progress. I know life is hard but you just have to go further and stronger. Sometimes you will touch the bottom but you know what they say... From there you can only get better :))

I think I will show you in my next post what do I mean by that. Till then, like always, have a great time, and don't forget to watch over yourself. Remember, to be good to others and to help them you must first help yourself and try to find out what makes you live the fullest.
