The process of painting a painting with acrylic paints.

Hi guys! The process of painting a painting with acrylic paints.

I paint with acrylics on canvas. The canvas is pre-stretched on a wooden stretcher.

First point. This is the preparation of the canvas. Since I buy a canvas already ground, I just need to take it out of the oilcloth. And if you buy only non-ground fabric, then you need to prime it, then let it dry, and then pull it on a stretcher, and only then you can draw. There is also a canvas sold already primed, it only needs to be pulled onto a stretcher. But I don't really like this process, and it also takes a lot of time. Therefore, I rest the canvas, already primed and stretched over a wooden frame.

The second stage is pencil underpainting. Then dark paint. I sometimes paint underpainting with black paint, but not very saturated, sometimes red. But there are times when I don't paint underpainting.
