Tango narrates love disappointments and also social realities in an often grave and sarcastic tone, for one of the most famous composers of tango lyrics such as Enrique Santos Discepolo, tango was: A sad thought that is danced. From the beginning, the milonga and tango found their natural complement in the dance of couples, in those years they danced in the street, in the conventillos (residence of immigrants) and in brothels, that's why it had a very bad reputation, it was the music and dance of the slums and the malevos.
Many of the stories and experiences that we can find in tango lyrics, relate to the world as an unfair scenario, being critical of a society that puts economic values ​​before human values, other times revealing the misery of many in the face of the opulence of Others, in short, in tango, deep questions about existence were overturned, from reason, from feelings and from faith.
