Hive Communities Initiative: New communities... New opportunities.

It's all about connections.

Medium

Since the communities were created, the possibility of knowing and gathering specific content in just one place has become much more interesting (and evidently more useful) because searching and sharing information on similar subjects was not so easy before the creation of the communities.

Although the idea is incredible, I still think that communities are unequal in many ways, but as this is not the focus of this publication... I will not comment on this subject (but it is something that needs to be improved over time). Anyway, the idea of this contest is great because it gives other users the chance to get to know "new" communities that are still unknown.

So, here are two very good examples:

#01. Project HOPE

Among the many strengths of this community (which is focused on useful issues and mutual help... for example: posts on technology, finance or psychology), I can say that the most important thing is the value that is given to engagement among users. Each post that is written brings a good teaching or some useful information and this keeps the community growing steadily and strongly.

I was invited to participate in this community by @crypto.piotr and since then, I have been a frequent participant in my publications and engagement for the growth and strengthening of the community. If you still don’t know it, I strongly recommend that you give this group of good people with great ideas a chance. I'm sure that you will not regret being part of this family. Such a nice place!

#02. Movies & TV Shows

This community has an obvious focus (its title says it all). Created by the user @Namiks, the idea is to concentrate posts about the world of films and TV series. Whenever I can, I try to collaborate with this community (and it’s worth doing it... especially if you are a lover of Movies or TV Series). It's a good place, with users focused on posting reviews.

Even though it is a small community (in terms of users), I can say that there is a lot of potential there, because the users who participate write good posts about movies and series. Plus, it's a great way to get recommendations for what to watch (and also, avoid what is bad and not worth wasting time on, haha!). If you also don't know this community yet, here is my recommendation for you to give it a chance.

That's it, folks! I hope you enjoyed my recommendations. These two communities are really good and are worth the effort to post there.

This is my entry to the contest promoted by @theycallmedan:

I had not heard of Project Hope, it sounds like a beautiful initiative. I must thank you for getting me into the Movies&TV community, it might not be that big, but there is a lot of movement and potential there
