I am Cat Sitting over the Fourth of July weekend
My daughter and her husband have 4 cats.
So I’m trading off with her husband’s parents and feeding and checking on the cats two days while they are out of town.
Unfortunately one of the male cats, Mochi, and one of the females cats,Dani, do not like each other.
So you have to separate them.
Long story short, I got confused/absent minded and put the wrong female cat in the bedroom and let out the Mochi from his room.
I soon heard them both yowling very loud at each other underneath the living room table with the poor female cat backed into the corner by the male cat.
So using a beach towel I managed to separate them and the female cat ran off and hid in the washer dryer room.
Mochi,male cat, was hiding under the table and I attempted to calm him down.
I really wanted to put him in back in his bedroom and then go get the female cat that need to be put away in a separate bedroom.
Well, that whole thing took me at least one hour and I ended up being clawed by the male cat and hissed at and it was not a fun experience!

This is the female cat Dani, that was terrorized by the dominant a.k.a. mean male cat,Mochi.
Here are the other two sweet cats that I had no problem with during the visit to my daughter's house.

Also wondering what’s the deal with Mochi?
Mochi never tries to fight with either Miles or Milli!

Milli seems indifferent and really cool hahaha I guess it's not the one being bullied so it's just calm and collected making no noise at all hahaha.

Happy 4th to you, Violet. Always nice to see you have posted. Yes, multiple cats is always a strange dynamic, especially with two alphas. Throwing in a dog often helps. Then everyone joins team cat and of course the dog just loves the attention:)
