Voy a entender un poco la frase la siento como complicada para mí.

Lo podemos tomar en dos sentidos.

Cuando pienso en la palabra diciembre lo primero que se me viene a la mente es que es una época de consumismo, aunque también viene con la connotación de finalizar un año, de una vacaciones muy merecidas, la tradición del nacimiento de Jesucristo y la reunión en familiares que a lo mejor en el transcurso del año no se habían reunido y aprovechamos la ocasión para hacer este plato muy tradicional de esta época decembrina qué son las hallacas, pan de jamón, el pernil las 12 uvas.

Entonces aprovechamos esta época para realizar todos estas celebraciones.

Así que me voy a enfocar al amor y la relación con el oro.

De acuerdo a la manera como nosotros nos expresamos en mi cultura con respecto a la palabra "pesar" la frase " El amor pesa más que el oro" se puede interpretar de dos modos:

Podemos entender de manera positiva que el amor tiene más valor (peso) que el oro, o sea sería la manera positiva, es decir que el sentimiento del amor tiene más importancia que el beneficio económico que pueda brindar una relación o también puede interpretarse la palabra (pesar) como costo, entonces nos metimos en problemas con la palabra "El amor tiene mayor peso (costo) que el oro" porque estaríamos interpretando que el amor puede llevarnos a incurrir en que valoremos más una relación que el beneficio que pudiéramos obtener sin esa relación y que por lo tanto tengamos perdida pero como estoy segura que anteponer el beneficio al amor es equivocado porque el amor es más importante y afortunado seremos si logramos obtener y mantener el amor y al mismo tiempo obtener y acrecentar nuestro beneficio.

We can understand in a positive way that love has more value (weight) than gold, that is, it would be the positive way, that is, the feeling of love is more important than the economic benefit that a relationship can provide or the word can also be interpreted (weigh) as a cost, then we got into trouble with the word "Love has greater weight (cost) than gold" because we would be interpreting that love can lead us to incur that we value a relationship more than the benefit we could obtain without that relationship and that therefore we have lost but as I am sure that putting benefit before love is wrong because love is more important and fortunate we will be if we can obtain and maintain love and at the same time obtain and increase our benefit.
