The Dancing Men

This wall painting immediately caught my attention. Was it the memory of a vanished civilization, or a coded message? I went a little closer to take some pictures. Besides the dancing little men, I noticed other interesting details: the graceful shadow of a fire bucket, the three-dimensional texture of the doors and walls. This yard hadn't been renovated in years. Everyone tried to improve the habitat to the best of their modest ability. One person decided to paint a wall, but didn't have enough paint. Another person decorated the front garden with pieces of southern-style limestone. A third person planted a bush of red currants. All together it looks a little strange, but very nice.
