Cada día es único / Every day is unique

Hoy ha sido un día nublado y lluvioso, de esos que me gustan; con el cielo gris, el clima fresco, el olor a tierra mojada y las gotitas cayendo sobre los techos, silenciando otros sonidos. También hay relámpagos, aunque no tan estruendosos, para la fortuna de mi hijo. Por un momento me asomé a la ventana, intentando capturar la imagen del cielo iluminado por uno de esos rayos, pero no logramos ponernos de acuerdo, así que fallé y sólo tengo esta foto...

Today was a cloudy and rainy day, the kind I like; with the grey sky, the cool weather, the smell of wet earth and the droplets falling on the roofs, silencing other sounds. There is also lightning, although not as loud, for my son's fortune. For a moment I leaned out of the window, trying to capture the image of the sky illuminated by one of those rays, but we couldn't agree, so I failed and I only have this photo...

Mi mañana empezó con el aerobics, a pesar de que el clima sugería lluvia, no nos alcanzó en ese entonces, lo que le agradezco, aunque siempre quede roja como un tomate.

My morning started with aerobics, even though the weather suggested rain, it didn't reach us at that time, which I thank you for, even though it was always red as a tomato.

Con frecuencia en días así, falla la electricidad, pero hoy ocurrió justo cuando preparaba el almuerzo y no lo pude terminar. Como había pan, lo usamos de distractor, hasta que restablezcan la energía eléctrica.

Often on days like this, the electricity fails, but today it happened just as I was preparing lunch and I couldn't finish it. Since there was bread, we used it as a distraction, until the power was restored.

En mi hamaca tengo la compañía de mi hijo, con quién me gusta practicar lectura. Esta vez nos aventuramos con un libro llamado: Jesús. Aproximación histórica, de José Antonio Pagola. Me intriga la vida de Jesucristo, así que siempre es una buena opción. Las primeras páginas están dedicadas a la descripción de las ciudades y gobernantes del entorno de Jesús. Son 182 páginas, nos queda bastante por leer. Ya jugamos cartas, escuchamos los audios de un foro chat de crecimiento personal y vimos videos graciosos también.

In my hammock I have the company of my son, with whom I like to practice reading. This time we ventured with a book called: Jesus. Historical Approach, by José Antonio Pagola. I am intrigued by the life of Jesus Christ, so it is always a good choice. The first pages are dedicated to the description of the cities and rulers around Jesus. There are 182 pages, so there is still a lot to read. We already played cards, listened to the audios of a personal growth chat forum and watched funny videos too.

A la hora que escribo, 5:15 pm, el pan que antes comí, ya dejó de hacer su trabajo. Olvidé mencionar que mi cocina es eléctrica, pero imagino que era de suponerse, porque de ser a gas, no habría mayor inconveniente. Pero lo más terrorífico ahora es que la batería de mi celular está al 13% y no hay internet, jajaja. En realidad eso no me importa, me siento tan bien, con tanta paz... Disfruto lo que tengo: mi hogar, mi familia, el amor que me rodea. Estoy aprendiendo a dejar pasar lo que no puedo cambiar. Si no hay electricidad, ni modo, en algún momento regresará, no puedo hacer nada al respecto, lo acepto y sigo adelante. Tengo mucho más de lo que parece faltar.

By the time I write, 5:15 p.m., the bread I ate before has stopped doing its job. I forgot to mention that my stove is electric, but I guess that was to be expected, because if it were gas, there would be no major inconvenience. But the scariest thing now is that my cell phone battery is at 13% and there is no internet, hahaha. I don't really care about that, I feel so good, so peaceful. I enjoy what I have: my home, my family, the love that surrounds me. I'm learning to let go of what I can't change. If there is no electricity, no way, at some point it will come back, I can't do anything about it, I accept it and move on. I have much more than what seems to be missing
