(Edited)

Good evening! Tonight I am resuming the blogging challenge first posted by @tegoshei, (Let's Do A 30-Day Blogging Challenge!!!), before I proceed with a video commission due in 7 days. I am still trying to learn editing techniques so I might not be much active this week. I will get back to replies and comments soon! So for the fifth day of the blogging challenge, we have to write about things we are afraid of.

STRAYKAT, THE SCAREDY CAT!!!

(Sounds like a book for kids. Lol!)

#1 SPIDERS!!!

I don't have to think hard if you ask me what my greatest fear is. Lol. I am not scared of every spider species but the ones I dislike and fear most are the huge spiders. There is one kind of spider present in homes which can grow as huge as our palm and it can craw really REALLY FAST! Sorry for the word, but I hate this kind of spider very much! Sometimes they'll just appear in the bathroom or just anywhere. There was even one time I found a huge one at the end of my bed and crawled quickly to the curtain. I told them I won't sleep unless they kill it. And even after it was killed and removed from the room, I still slept with my legs curled because I can imagine another spider appearing at the end of the bed. I was traumatized and slept with curled legs for weeks. There was even a time I didn't go to our kitchen for like more than 3 months after seeing a huge spider there because it wasn't caught and still on that area. After it was caught, I slowly returned visiting the kitchen.

They say spiders come inside to search for food. There may be some small insects inside that attracted them. Another thing I remember is due to the weather. When it's cold outside, they find a warmer place to stay.

Some remedies to keep spiders away is to spray water with peppermint oil or other citrus essential oils, lavender, vinegar, etc. Spiders have sensitive sense of smell and they don't like the smell of those I mentioned above. I bought a peppermint oil before and sprayed it around the room and bathroom. I don't know if it's effective because the tiny spiders don't seem affected by it. They just move away then return like nothing happened. Ugh!

#2 BEING EXPOSED

This thing has to do with social anxiety. I've explained it on the second blogging challenge - 30-Day Blogging Challenge Day 2: 10 THINGS ABOUT STRAYKAT. Also, I prefer being a mysterious person, probably the reason why I am inclined to drawing. Lol.

#3 THINGS GOING WRONG

I am a perfectionist person and I want things going according to plan and so it scares me when things go the other way, especially when it turns out bad. It feels like a train being derailed. The unknown is really terrifying. But of course, I tell myself it's alright to make mistakes and not know everything.

#4 GHOSTS

I wouldn't know what to do if one appears right in front of me. Yikes! I've encountered a few through sounds when I was a kid and the scariest encounter I've had is probably with a doppelganger.

That's all for the fifth blogging challenge! Sorry, no photos for each fear, it will just make me scared scrolling through this post. Hehe!
