The different shades of yellow colors

avatar

An happy Saturday to all hivers! I hope you're having a nice day to spend in relax or doing something you like to do. ^_^
I spent my morning working in the bookstore and, after a fast lunch, I started to work (again) on the sudy I started days ago (you can see the first steps here and here), but it's a slowly work and so I'll show you the final results in the next days.

Working on it with my oil colors, I thought about how many shades of yellow colors I can use on my art. Some of them are ready to use thanks the tubes I had at home, other ones can be obtained mixing a kind of yellow with other colors.

One of the shades of yellow I love so much is the Naple yellow. I can use it directly as it come out from the tube or I can add a bit of black to obtain a nice shades of light green.

I also like the different shades of ocher and I use them in a lot of my pieces.

Well, now I have to come back to my paintings,
see ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
