A Beautiful & Sublime Sunday: A HOUSE ACROSS THE RIVER

Were it not for the boat with the red top,

I would have missed the house across the river.


Do you see it?

I wonder who lives in that house across the river.


Perhaps an empty nester couple lives there.

Now, why did I think that?

I do know one thing... the imagination is conditioned

and based on memory and past experience.


I imagine that the couple that lives in the house across the river

are free spirited hippie boomers!

Their children have grown up and moved out, and now they live a lifestyle according to their wishes and beliefs.

They are unconstrained with society's conventions. And they painted

the exterior of their house charcoal gray just because they wanted to!

I could live remotely, just not in the boonies. When i was younger i liked the city and dated a girl who lived on Park Ave in Manhattan. It was awesome then, I couldn’t do it now. I like the quiet suburbs where i am but could use even less traffic then that.🤗🌹❤️🥰

Me too, bestie! I am glad to live in a farm town, lots of air space, not too much traffic and speed limit is 35mph in the main roads (only 2 BTW), yet all amenities within the town limits, adjacent to the Capital of California, and a UC.
