Heartbreaking Letter

There are many things in life that are worse than where you currently are. Well, Mrs Lukes discovered this in a hard way through her teenage daughter that just finished from high school. A few weeks after Serena, Mrs Lukes' only daughter finished from high school, she wrote a letter to her mum that changed the entire course of her mum's life.

Mrs Lukes came home late at night from work to find the house well tidied which was unusual, with a letter placed on the parlour center table. When Mrs Lukes opened the letter, she could not hold tears from dripping down her cheek.

The letter was like a nuclear warhead and it read: _Hello mum, it is with a heart full of heaviness that I am writing to tell you that I have decided to elope with Jerry, the young man that used to live down the street. I tried to convince myself that I do not love him but the more I try, the more I see myself loving him the more.

Even though you may not have met him one-on-one, I think I am in love with him and he promised to treat me better that his other four girlfriends. I know it sounds weird but I am also pregnant for him.

Since the people he used to stay with asked him to leave, he constructed a small bamboo tent right inside the woods because he cannot afford to rent a house at the moment until he can get a job. I am sure the woods will be very calm and he will have access to herbs that will help him treat his cancer and his failing liver conditions. It will also help with his AIDS.

Meanwhile, to be able to survive for the meantime, I collected your credit card and dad's own too, please help me explain to him because jerry will need some money for his retroviral drugs.

Don't worry mum, when things get better in a couple of years hopefully, you will meet Jerry and meet your grandchildren too. I hope you won't miss me much, cos I will try to be writing you letters from time to time. Regards to dad. Love from Serena._

Mrs Luke, still with trembling hands, saw "please turn over" at the bottom of the letter. When she turned over the letter, she saw these texts:

_Please mum, disregard every story you read above, it was just made up but I wanted to let you know that there are worse things that can happen than my bad high school result. I am currently at the Tyler's house just opposite the house. Hope you will not feel mad at me because of my high school result?
