Magic in the kitchen - Chocolate cake without butter and without wheat flour.
Although this period of quarantine has been cause for concern and despair, I have tried to lead a very quiet life, staying at home has allowed me to learn new things and spend more time with my family.
What has caught my attention the most in this quarantine period is learning how to make cakes, I love them, as well as my family. Traditionally, for the preparation of a cake we use butter and wheat flour, the lack of one of them complicates everything, but today I will show you how to prepare a cake without those two ingredients.
Although it seems crazy to you, these two ingredients can be replaced to prepare a delicious cake. To replace the wheat flour we need corn starch and rice cream and the butter by the oil.
Ingredients:
1 cup of cornstarch.
1 cup of cream of rice.
½ cup powdered chocolate.
1 cup of sugar.
½ cup of oil.
1 spoon of vanilla.
1 tablespoon of baking powder.
1 cup of milk.
1 cup of lukewarm water.
2 eggs.
Step by Step.
In a container add the cornstarch, the cream of rice, the chocolate, the sugar and the baking powder.
Later we add the oil, the vanilla, the milk, the warm water, the eggs and mix.
We empty the mixture into a previously greased and floured tray and bake at 180 ºC for 40 minutes.
After 40 minutes, remove the cake from the oven and let it rest.
And here we have our chocolate cake without wheat flour and without butter.
Learning never hurts, let's keep our minds open to new things.
I hope you are encouraged to prepare this delicious cake
