Groovie Chillhop | Split-Screen Performance by @ricardomello [ENG/ESP]

[ENG] Good morning, community! This week I have been learning some ways to assemble multiple videos at once, I have come up with my first split screen result while playing four different things.

The first recording was the rhythm guitar video, I didn't use metronomes, the only equipment I used was my computer, my guitar and my cell phone. I wanted it to be a kind of natural jammin ', without the perfection of professionally produced music.

[ESP] ¡Buenos días, comunidad! Esta semana he estado aprendiendo algunas maneras de acoplar varios videos a la vez, he dado con mi primer resultado de pantalla dividida mientras toco cuatro cosas distintas.

El primer video fue el de la guitarra rítmica, no utilicé metrónomos, el único equipo que usé fue mi computadora, mi guitarra y mi teléfono celular. Quería que fuera una especie de jammin' natural, sin la perfección de la música producida profesionalmente.

[ENG] After recording the rhythm guitar, the next step was percussions wich I also did with the wooden resonance box of my acoustic guitar. The third video was kind of melodic bass line edited and the last recording was voices and singing. I'm not very good singer but I kept it simple and for make it something interesting and funny I edited my voice when I talk a kind of rap.

It was a cool process, I really liked, now I wanna do some more but with cleanest sounds and maybe structured songs.

[ESP] Después de grabar la guitarra rítmica, el siguiente paso fueron las percusiones que también hice con la caja de resonancia de madera de mi guitarra acústica. El tercer video fue una especie de bajo editado y la última grabación fueron las voces y cantos. No soy muy buen cantante pero lo mantuve simple y para que fuera algo interesante y divertido edité mi voz cuando hago esa especie de rap.

Fue un proceso genial, me gustó mucho, ahora quiero hacer un poco más, pero con sonidos más limpios y quizás canciones estructuradas.
