There's a slowdown in everything in Steem. Why not? What's happening around deserve this slowdown, I guess. And, it's for good, I believe. For me, I only can give a certain amount of time to Steem. I do have to take care of other online and offline things. And learning about what's happening for a few days in Steem draining away most of my time.

But that's not the reason I have slowed down in Steem. I believe in community power and thus I definitely believe in Hive. So, I'm preserving my ideas and thoughts to share on the hive.

Hive will launch in a few hours and I'm too excited to see how it is. How the interface looks like and how it works. I guess everyone is feeling the same. This wait, you know, from the last night, this wait is not ending. It's obviously creating pressure alongside with Covid-19. Let's see what happens.

Another thing is the "turmoil". Should we sell all our liquid? should we power down immediately? Should we power down all the SP? Should we cancel all the delegations? What will be the Steem value afterward? So, many questions!

Well, no one can give us any concrete answer as no one has the answer. I believe we all have different strategies to survive in Steem and worry much about it. But we must play safe. I have sold most of my liquid and probably will power down half of my SP after Hive goes live. As the airdrop amount will be the same in Hive so I didn't power down yet all my SP. But I will gradually. And, it seems like Hive has a great future. So...

Now the question is, are we gonna leave Steem totally? Or we will do both Hive and Steem.

I believe, most of us are in this dilemma and probably will go with any of the sites or with both depending on the progress. Steem will not be dead. But that's what I personally think. Steem has a brand value and newcomers will join Steem. I don't know how many are there who don't support Hive. But people will be here in Steem for sure. But Hive seems exciting to me, to everyone, I guess. It's all depends on how Hive will run and what the future of it.

Ultimately we, you and me will not be anywhere if there's no benefit. No? There's no way to deny it. So fingers crossed for Hive!
