Miercoles de Verduras // Vegetable Wednesday

Hoy es jueves y normalmente vamos a comprar algo de verduras cerca de mi casa, en esta ocasión por las restricciones de la pandemia, los guardias nacionales o policías restringe la movilización para algunas personas.

Today is Wednesday and normally we are going to buy some vegetables near my house, this time due to the restrictions of the pandemic, the national guards or the restricted mobilization policies for some people.

Siendo sincera, son unos abusadores porque no dejan pasar a las personas que traen productos para vender, sino aquellos que le moja la mano y tenga un salvo conducto que lo compra a algún militar.

To be honest, they are abusers because they do not allow people who bring products to sell to pass, but those who get their hands wet and have a safe conduit that buys it from a military man.

El abasto donde fuimos a comprar mi mama y yo, fue Abasto la avenida, este queda en la avenida Universidad, tiene de todo y un buen espacio de verduras.

The supply where my mother and I went to buy, Abasto was the avenue, this one is on University avenue, it has everything and a good space for vegetables.

Este establecimiento queda mucho más lejos del que estamos acostumbrada a ir y tuvimos que caminar porque no había trasporte púbico debido a la escasez de combustible, en el abasto compramos papa, zanahoria, cebollino, tomate, ají dulce, ají, un zapallo, espinaca, auyama y cebolla.

This establishment is much farther than we are accustomed to going and we had to walk because there was no public transportation due to fuel shortages, in the supply we bought potatoes, carrots, chives, tomatoes, sweet pepper, chili, a squash, spinach, auyama and onion.

El zapallo y los ají mongos son para mi abuela que prepara unos ají muy buenos, ella acostumbra a regalar a familiares y amigos, es como una tradición para ella.

The squash and the chili peppers are for my grandmother who prepares some very good chili peppers, she usually gives gifts to family and friends, it is like a tradition for her.

Las demás verduras son para el consumo de la semana, son para mi pequeña familia, que nos dura alrededor de una semana, volveremos el jueves, espero que dejen pasar a los agricultores de la zona, para que distribuyan sus productos mas baratos.

The other vegetables are for the consumption of the week, they are for my little family, which lasts for about a week, we will return on Wednesday, I hope they let the farmers in the area pass, so that they distribute their products cheaper.
